Top Of The South Tours has been operating the business since 2001. Joost van Roij is the owner/Operator. Joost has a first aid certificate and has been a hiker/tramper for the past 10 years and has gained knowledge on the history, flora and fauna of all the areas we walk in.


The sunny Nelson region experiences mild winters so feel free to contact us year round. The areas covered may include a walk into the Abel Tasman, Kahurangi or Nelson Lakes National Park, fabulous locations to immerse yourself in the peace, tranquillity, fresh air and spectacular scenery.
